Italian-Moldovan translation for business and professional documents

With the development of new business routes in Europe, many companies have become interested in expanding their business to other territories with large resources. To facilitate communication between companies and administrations, our translation agency provides Italian-Moldovan translations for documents needed to start a business, to make sales agreements, to draft import/export contracts and all other business or professional activities. Business-oriented translations into Moldovan need to be done by a native speaker. Moldovan is the official language of the Republic of Moldova, which is located between Romania and Ukraine, and being a former Soviet Socialist Republic, its linguistic contamination is varied and articulate. For this reason, our professionals, who know both the spoken and written Moldovan language, can offer professional language processing of the highest standard.

Our agency specialises in translating from Romanian into Italian and vice versa, for the translation of documents to be submitted to public bodies and for the issuance of documents in general

Difference between Moldovan and Romanian: are they two different languages?

Moldovan is spoken by around 24 million people and although associated with Romanian, they are two languages with their own characteristics. The debate on the actual official status of the Moldovan language has been going on for several years. Moldovan is a relatively young language, born in 1924, and is considered a ‘political language separatism’ (Source: Wikipedia).

Moldovan, defined as a dialect and not as a language, has many literal and linguistic hints of Russian ( the Republic of Moldova belonged to the USSR), Ukrainian and Romanian (although some Moldovan words are considered archaic).

It can be written either in the Latin alphabet or in an adapted Cyrillic alphabet, as is the case in Transnistria (an independent state not recognised by the UN, but considered part of the Republic of Moldova). To this day, Moldovan has no real linguistic identity and if one is looking for an Italian-Moldovan translator, a professional native speaker of Romanian, who also knows Ukrainian and Russian, will always be taken as a reference. The Moldovan-Italian translator, applying his linguistic knowledge, will know how to use the right terms to produce a perfect and professional translation.
